Private portrait commissions in Yorkville, Toronto

Portrait artist Jérôme Scullino welcomes individuals, couples and families from across Toronto and the GTA for private portrait commissions at his photo studio in Yorkville. Selected portraits are completed as framed monochrome portraiture or original mixed-media artwork, created to live with your family for generations.

Whether it is a family portrait commission, a couple's portrait or an individual sitting, the starting point is the same. It is not a pose or a style. It is who matters, how you are connected and why you want to make the portrait.

The portraits are shown at a private same-day viewing in the studio. You select the portraits you want to live with and consider how they may be completed as framed monochrome portraiture or original mixed-media artwork for your home.

There is a moment in every commission when the portraits move from something seen on the screen to something imagined in physical form. From there, the question becomes how the selected portraits should be completed—as framed monochrome portraiture, a bound collection or an original mixed-media artwork. For families seeking fine art family portraits in Toronto, monochrome portraiture is the most timeless place to begin.

Planning Your Toronto Portrait Session

Allow approximately two hours for the complete studio appointment, including the portrait session, a short pause and the private viewing.
