Happy 4th of July, My Friends

Two young girls in a tender black and white studio portrait, one resting her head gently on the other
A quiet moment between sisters — strength, softness, and unspoken connection.

Hello to all my beautiful friends from the South—

What a year it’s been. But also… what a day to celebrate.

The 4th of July. Independence Day.
Such an important moment—not just for the United States, but for the world.
A symbol of democracy, resilience, and hope.

I wish you all a joyful, restful, and maybe even slightly sparkly day.
And if you’re working today—courage! I see you. 🙂

For me, the 4th of July represents the American Dream.
My dream.
The belief that possibility is real, and that we each have a place in building something better.

A world of possibilities will always be a better world.

Thank you.
Happy 4th.

The Presence of Place

Portraits are commissioned in quiet, light-filled environments—from Miami’s Design District and the refined pace of Yorkville in Toronto, to the historic stillness of Ottawa and Montreal, and the restorative calm of Mont-Tremblant in the Laurentians.
