BLACK & WHITE PORTRAITS
Crafted as heirloom portrait commissions shaped by presence, depth, and permanence.

Jerome has a gift for revealing what already exists. The experience was gentle and respectful. The portraits are simply stunning.
Melina
Quiet, honest, and enduring.
In the absence of color, something essential reveals itself. Monochrome is a deliberate reduction. What remains is a study in tonal depth and form, portraits that hold presence in a room without competing for attention.
These portraits do not compete with the space they inhabit. They hold presence. They invite stillness.
This is not a stylistic choice, but a deliberate craft. Tonal depth and subtle contrast are refined so each print carries the weight of the subject, shaped by light and shadow.
The result is not an image to scroll past, but a portrait made to live with.
To be felt, not just seen.
From Light to Archival Form
A portrait is complete only when it takes physical form. Each piece is produced on 100% archival cotton rag using pigment inks chosen for tonal fidelity and permanence.
Every print is hand-inspected, signed, and prepared in-studio, with conservation-grade mounting and framing available. The standard is simple: the work should feel as considered decades from now as it does today.
This is black and white as a finished object — shaped by craft, meant to be lived with, not scrolled past.
The work is shaped in studios in Miami and Toronto, with commissioned sessions also taking place in Ottawa and Montreal—each space designed to support this quiet focus.
Jérôme was able to draw out a true and natural representation of each of us. Encountering the honesty of his photography was deeply moving.
