Art isn’t in the pose. It’s in what stirs beneath it.

Traditional portraiture often leaves us feeling disconnected, uncomfortable, or simply unseen. For 25 years, I've seen people hide behind forced smiles, rigid poses, and superficial makeovers—ending up with images that felt impersonal, artificial, and emotionally flat.
I wanted to do things differently. To create portraits that truly honored the depth and authenticity of my clients, making them feel genuinely seen.

You’re not just being photographed. You’re being seen.
To capture you authentically, within your story—never forcing the moment, but always embracing it.
I moved away from conventional photography studios and developed a distinctive method:
- Genuine connection, story-first sessions, instead of traditional posed portraits.
- Fine art Black & White portraits and mixed media artworks instead of digital files lost in archives.
- Celebrating authentic self-expression rather than superficial glam.
- This approach became the cornerstone of my brand, Jérôme Art & Photography.
Awards are nice—but nothing compares to what you say.
Your stories, in your words, mean the most.

Through his unique, playful approach, Jerome has the uncanny ability to draw out the authentic from his subjects. I found he was able to relate to my young children in a very special way, bringing out their true nature, and capturing it with his lens. Bravo Jerome!

My Journey
I was born in the South of France, but my real education came from immersing myself in cultures across Italy, Spain, England, Tunisia, Mexico, India, Japan, the Caribbean, Canada, and the US. Each journey showed me something essential: Home isn’t a place; it’s a feeling.
I carry that understanding into every portrait session, creating imagery that genuinely feels like home.
Why Family Matters?
When I’m not behind the camera, I’m probably chasing my daughters’ laughter or debating the best croissant in town with my wife. Well, I was—until discovering I was gluten intolerant. Now we just argue about it.
My family grounds me. They constantly remind me why stories matter—because family is where every meaningful story begins.
VISION
A portrait is not just a picture...
By aligning with our higher self through the experience of being truly seen, I create work so personal and powerful, it transforms how people see themselves—and how they are remembered. In doing so, I aim to restore portraiture to its rightful place: as a form of legacy, reverence, and art.
MISSION
For those who have built extraordinary lives...
true abundance isn’t just in what you own—it’s in the love you share, the moments you cherish, and the legacy you leave behind. My work isn’t simply about portraits; it’s about capturing the people and relationships that define your story, preserved and celebrated for generations to come.

My journey continues to evolve, but the core remains unchanged: to create portraits that move you, honor your story, and stand the test of time. Art that makes you feel something real.
