I Struggle With Self-Confidence

How you have sustained my success and given me shots of the impossible.

Two young sisters with long hair share a tender embrace in black and white, expressing love, connection, and quiet emotion.
Two young sisters with long hair share a tender embrace in black and white, The quiet strength of love between sisters — a moment of tenderness, captured in timeless black and white.

I wrote an article on Medium about being a neurodivergent artist.
One of my very good friends read it and told me he didn’t think I was neurodivergent — but now, looking closer, he realized that I was.
He said, “In your case, it makes you extraordinary, especially in your field of work.”

OK... Interesting... Who would have thought, it was news to me he thought so highly of me.

I struggle with self-confidence. I am my worst enemy.
To distract myself from the imposter syndrome that follows me everywhere, I do anything but what I must do to build the foundation for success.
I avoid doing my taxes, paying bills on time, and I travel to escape family pressures.
Yes — my demons are Kaiju-sized.

But as soon as I am in front of you — a family, a client — I refocus and find a moment of clarity.
Your encouragement gives me enough lucidity to not totally sabotage myself.

You have said:

“His creativity is like magic dust on the captured images.” — Sue Joyce

“I cannot begin to express my gratitude for this beautiful opportunity to work with Jérôme. Taking photos with four kids ranging in age can be a challenge for anyone, but he managed to capture their essence so precisely — I was absolutely blown away. The artwork speaks for itself, and I would highly recommend the investment. Jérôme is a professional and a kind soul in a league of his own.” — Nathalie Karpienia

And so many more testimonials.

They grant me a moment of gratitude — a boost to do better.
They remind me that family is the core of everything I do.
They give me strength to stay, to face the challenges instead of running.

They are a boost — a drug — masking, for a moment, the deeper issues.
They give me a brief respite.
A moment of lucidity.
Before Godzilla returns.
(I know, I need therapy.)

Art and Self-Confidence: Finding Clarity Through Connection

Those testimonials are not only medicine; they have also made me realize I’m changing people’s lives in a positive way — that what I do has meaning.

If I dig deeper, it’s worth the time — worth your time.
A photography session can become a transformative experience for you, and a source of purpose and abundance for me and my family.

The struggle is still there, sitting in my gut.
Even though I might look successful on the outside, the reality is that my demons make that success fragile.

I struggle.
I crave the perfection of a well-run business — and at the same time, I’m paralyzed to take the steps that would make it possible.

Maybe the work isn’t about conquering our demons, but learning to create beauty in their presence.

Book a session.
Come and be part of my success story.
Come and feel the transformation.
Because success is a two-way highway.

Art is what alleviates the small sufferings of everyday life — what inspires us toward our higher self, or simply brings a smile to our lips on a difficult day.
