PORTRAITS FOR PEOPLE WHO VALUE CONNECTION

A studio practice rooted in  presence. Creating fine-art portraiture for families in Toronto, Miami, Montreal, and Ottawa.

What Endures

Legacy is not found in the pose, but in the presence. I create intimate portraits for those who view family as their greatest achievement.

The experience is calm, personal, and unhurried.
The result is artwork that feels true, not performative.

Mixed media portrait of a family of four with layered textures and painterly brushstrokes, capturing warmth and togetherness, by Jerome Art Photography.

“When I saw our portraits for the first time, I felt I was looking at my life’s greatest achievement.”

Chantal

“It holds years of sadness, happiness, and wisdom — all coming through in one image.”

Presence over perfection

Abstract black-and-white portrait of a woman in motion, with blurred lines and soft focus, by Jerome Art Photography.

The Quality of Attention

In the absence of judgment, something real has room to appear.

You do not come to the studio to be posed;
you come to be seen.

Every commission is a collaboration, guided with care and clarity to ensure the story that emerges is entirely your own.

Portraiture, Refined

My work includes black and white fine art portraits and mixed media artwork, created as one-of-a-kind pieces and finished by hand.
Each project is shaped around the people in front of the camera, not a formula.

Studios & Availability

From the architectural energy of Miami’s Design District to the refined pace of Yorkville in Toronto, my studios serve as sanctuaries for this work. I am available for commissions in Montreal, Ottawa, and for select travel projects globally.

Sepia portrait of a pianist and songwriter composing at a piano, pencil in hand, in soft window light.
Black and white portrait of parents embracing their adult daughter in a studio against a dark background.

“I felt seen and understood.”

The Presence of Place

Portraits are commissioned in quiet, light-filled environments—from Miami’s Design District and the refined pace of Yorkville in Toronto, to the historic stillness of Ottawa and Montreal, and the restorative calm of Mont-Tremblant in the Laurentians.
